Itinerary:

Let's take an easy walk to start the new year and locate some of the best museums in town.

We will meet 10:30 am outside St. Clair West subway station (370 St. Clair Avenue West), by the exit which is adjacent to Loblaws. Then we will walk southbound, passing Casa Loma, Bata Shoe Museum, Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), The Gardener Museum (a.k.a the ceramic museum), Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), and end up by a boutique museum located on 207 Queens Quay West, the country's only public museum to showcase one of Canada's most celebrated artistic achievements: Inuit art. The whole distance is below 6 K and we should finish the walk within 2 hours. Those who are interested in the Inuit Art can have a freebie tour of the museum, thanks to its temporary free weekend promotion program.
