ROM Walk: Whiskey, Wharf and Windmill (7/19/2006)

Itinerary:

Get to know our city! The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) leads excellent guided historical walks around significant areas of Toronto. TOC members will join this ROM walk around the distillery district.

Highlights will include Little Trinity Church, the First Firehall, Consumers' Gas Building, Berkeley Castle, Goodherham & Worts, and Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

After the walk, we can head to a local establishment for refreshments, if desired.

The walk is free, but we ask our TOC participants for a voluntary contribution of $1 to help keep the club running.

From King subway station, take the King streetcar east to Parliament St. (about 10 minutes' ride). Walk east one block to Trinity St.

There is a church on the southwest corner of Trinity and King Sts. We'll meet outside this church at 5.50 PM.

If you can't spot us, the ROM guide will have a blue umbrella.

Walks run rain or shine.

Since this is not a TOC-led event, our itinerary for the walk will be determined by the ROM Walk guide.
