PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the TOC.

Itinerary:
XC Ski by the light of the moon with lantern lit trails through Horse Shoe Valley Resort

Night XC skiing is from dusk(5:30) till 10pm. It is a 90% flat trail of 6.5km. Trail Pass is $12+tx and the rental is $17+tx.

There is a chalet with food and drinks, though it only serves basic food and is open till 10pm(I'm told).

WHEN YOU SIGN UP PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS SECTIONS:

For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you don’t take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks? Important for people with long skis.
For everyone...
2. Are you taking skis up with you? Or will you rent them?
3. If you are taking your skis, how long are they? – Please estimate if you are unsure.

If this is your first trip in 2010, please print a waiver, bring it with you, and complete it in front of a volunteer organizer as a witness.

We will leave Horseshoe by 10pm at the lastes but quite possibly earlier and should be back at Downsview by 11pmish.

  • Active WINTER layered clothes
  • Headlamp is a really good idea or flashlight

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $58.31 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Friday, May 10, 2024).
