We will meet at Ajax Go Station (outside the ticket office). You can get there by taking the Go train at Union Station (hourly service departing 8:13, 9:13, etc, and the train ride takes about 40 minutes), or by car. See below direction if you plan to get there by car.

Starting from Ajax Go Station, we will cycle to the Greenwood Conservation Area, about 6 km north of the station. Then we will hike about 3 hours in the area and take pictures of the fall scenery. Those that are zealous about biking in the woods can try biking as well. We will stop for lunch when we are hungry or we come across a place suitable for picnic and picture taking. We will be hiking at a comfortable pace of 3 km/hour and we should get back to Ajax Go station before 3 pm.

We will be following some medium-traffic streets to the conservation area. Therefore you must have experience cycling alongside automobile traffic if you intend on participating in this event.

This event will take place rain or shine.

Required Items to Bring:
Well-maintained bike and bike helmet(mandatory), hiking boots, lunch, snacks and water.

How to Get There:

1. Take 401 eastbound
2. Exit 401 at 31 for Westney Rd South
3. Immediate right turn and you are on the Go station.
Parking is free.

Notes:

We will meet at Ajax Go Station from 10:00 am and leave 10:10 am. Please give yourself sufficient time to get to the starting point, as I do not have a cell phone to be notified that you're on the way or will be late.
