Old Mill Discovery Walk (9/13/2009)

Itinerary:

The starting point of this hike will be from the TTC Old Mill Station. This will not be a loop hike. We will walk approximately 4 km. at a regular pace. The trail has a combination of level access with some moderate slopes and hard paved surface. We will visit some charming neighbourhoods, ravines, gardens, and along the way we will walk through South Amber Park towards Lakeshore, we will exit the trail at the Humber Pedestrian Bridge and continue our walk through the boardwalk to the Sunnyside Cafe which will be the end of our walk.

After the hike, participants are welcome to join the group for snacks or refreshments at the Sunnyside Cafe.

Public transportation: (bus # 80 Queensway)at Lakshore Blvd/Parkside Ave. to Keele Station, or the Streetcar No. 501 at the Queensway to downtown.
