Itinerary:
We'll be meeting @ the Boatwerks store parking lot where you will be picking up your gear. That includes the kayak, paddle, pfd, helmet, and skirt. From there we'll be driving to the Gull river(5mins). We'll do the intros and go over how to "gear" up. Then is down to the river where the intro lesson will begin. The paddling itself will be about 4 hours long, so have a nice lunch before you show up, cuz we'll be paddling from 1pm to about 5pm. You'll be surprise how quickly the day goes by.

Required Items to Bring:
Swimming trunks or bathing suit. A rashtop if you got it. You will be getting wet alot, the only time you'll be dry is when you're on the shore emptying out your boat, but the rest of the time you'll be wet. Water temperature is warming up, but if you do get cold easily I would recommend wearing neoprene. Paddling booties or sports sandals with a back strap. Big towel, we'll all be changing in the parking lot, but if you are shy and have lost your sense of smell, you can change in the outhouse. Sense of humour. I need to know your height, weight, shoe size, and sex(to fit you for your kayak).
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
If we have the max 6 people come, then I hope someone has a roof rack to put the boats on top. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Sunglasses(with strap), sunscreen, nose plugs. A bottle of gatorade for the paddle, maybe a snickers bar if you get hungry.
