Note: there are a few spots still available for this event. Please contact the coordinator if you are interested in attending.

Wildwood Manor Ranch is a western riding facility located on the Niagara Escarpment. We have ridden there before and have been impressed with the horses and the option for riders to choose either the "slow" (walking) group or "fast" (trot/canter) group and meet up at various points along the trail. You can view the ranch's web site with info on the horses here.

No prior experience on horses is required. We will be riding with qualified guides along trails. Helmets will be available at the ranch. NOTE: you MUST wear a riding helmet while on your horse. The ranch does not enforce this, however this is a TOC safety requirement. Horses can be startled and even experienced riders can fall. Refusal to wear a helmet will result in a review of your TOC membership. If you don't wish to wear a helmet, please do not sign up for this event.

We will be leaving Downsview at 12.15 in order to allow plenty of time to get to the ranch. Our ride starts at 2 pm, and before this we can take a look around the ranch and visit its animal inhabitants (horses, rabbits, chickens etc.).

- jeans/slacks (no shorts for riding)
- riding helmet, if you own one (the ranch has loaners available if you don't)
