Midweek Walk: High Park - Humber Bay Park (4/1/2009)

Itinerary:
Spring is here!!! Now we are not delayed by the ice, we can hike further!!!!

We will be walking at a moderate peace 3.5 - 4.0 Km/hour (not running, but not slow walking) inside the trails of High Park, that are expected to be muddy (Spring showers). Then we will take the lakeshore trail, explore Humber Bay Park (east and west) and then we will return back to High Park.

We will have fun in this event, regardless of the weather conditions. Please sign-up, only if you are comfortable with walking under the rain.

  • Good hiking footwear
  • Flash light
  • Water
  • Poncho / Rain Jacket

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Traveling by subway you get of at the High Park Subway station on the Bloor line. Go to High park avenue and turn right(south). Cross Bloor and enter park I will be there around the Map.

Traveling by car going east bound on QEW get off at Lakeshore and turn north on Parkside Drive. Traveling west on QEW/Gardiner get of at Dunn ave and Turn north on Parkside Drive. Follow Parkside to Bloor and turn Left(west) to the next set of lights and turn left into the High Park. There is some parking just inside the park find a spot and walk back to entrance.
