I have reserved campsite #47 at Silent Lake Provincial Park for this weekend. There is a trail that goes around the lake that I plan to jog or fast hike once or twice a day, 15km per loop. This is a chance to push/challenge yourself and get rid of those winter blahs. Afternoons and evenings will be spent relaxing with the option of canoeing, or biking if you so choose. On this trip we will work hard and cover a lot of ground on day hikes and contrast that with some downtime. Please only sign up if you want to push yourself as there are limited spots available.

On-site canoe rentals are available as well.

Required Items to Bring:
Tents, Sleeping bags, dishes and utensils, flashlight, hiking boots or trail shoes. Appropriate cold weather gear for chilly evenings or time on the water. Water bottles.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Camping stove if you have one, water filter, mountain bike, outdoor activities/games.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $110.94 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Thursday, May 9, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
