Sleazy real estate deals, liars, crooks, and more. Nowadays? Sure, but also in the 1980's when this play exploded on the scene. Warning, the play has some very harsh language but it is brilliantly employed.

We will attend the Soulpepper Theatre's Monday evening showing of "Glengarry Glen Ross" in Toronto's Distillery District, at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts.

This is the play that helped establish David Mamet as a powerhouse. It is also one of my personal favourite movies/plays for the quality and pacing of the dialog.

If you have not yet been to a Soulpepper production, this is your chance. If you have been to a Soulpepper production already, you will undoubtedly want to attend again for another show.

After seeing the play, we will go to the Mill Street Pub in the Distillery District for some food and drinks.

There will be no car-pool for this event. We will meet inside the doors of the Young Centre at about 6:15 p.m. to score $20 RUSH tickets. If you're late you won't get cheap RUSH tickets. Play starts at 7:30PM.

King Streetcar. Take the 504 Streetcar east from Yonge. Exit at King and Parliament, walk 2 blocks south on Parliament to Mill Street, then east to Distillery.
