The Salomon Snowshoe Raid is today, a 3-hour, score format, orienteering race on snowshoes. It is $100 per team of 2, start is 10:30am at Horseshoe Valley.
There are also 5km and 10km marked snowshoe races for $40. Please see the website for details.

Rental snowshoes are available from the resort on race day. Also the organisers require teams to carry some specific safety equipment, reading the event details is recommended.
