Itinerary:
We'll be checking out the annual Polar Bear Dip in Lake Ontario. It involves normally sane people jumping into the chilly waters of the bay. Some opt to even swim a bit.

You can attend as either a spectator or a participant. Of course as the organizer you can expect me to jump into the lake.

Spectators pay nothing but participants in the dip are expected to bring a minimum of $20 that gets donated to charity. The proceeds from the event will go to help Habitat for Humanity Toronto give a hand up not a hand out to families in need. Habitat for Humanity Toronto works in partnership with families who are working to escape sub-standard, poverty housing. With the help of generous donors and energetic volunteers, Habitat has built more than 100 homes in Toronto.

Spectators are expected to cheer on and photograph those amongst us nutty enough to do this. Also, be prepared with warm towels, encouragement etc for when we emerge from the frigid depths.
