Are you curious about Venezuelan culture? This is your opportunity to learn and enjoy and unofficial introduction without hurting your budget with the airline tickets.

Come and visit to the Parranda Navideña (a typical Holidays Venezuelan party). We will be having a big lunch with classical Venezuelan food. You will have the chance to taste Arepas (kind of corn-bread) , delicious Hallaca (like the Mexican tamales), a refreshment glass of Chicha and jam bread.

Do not worry, if you do not speak Spanish, I will be doing any translating. By the end of the day you will have learned the most important words in Spanish: Una Cerveza, Por favor

There will be a bazaar where you can buy CDs with Latin music, handcrafts and bijouterie. There is no time limit for a “Parranda”. The party usually extends for hours, but you are free to leave when you want.

Take the #100 (Flemingdon) bus from Eglinton or Broadview subway station. Get off at WYNFORD DR at GARAMOND. Look for the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. I will be in the door.
