Itinerary:
Mountain Equipment Co-Op is hosting its twice annual Gear Swap. Come and check out the amazing deals on new and used outdoor clothing and gear.

We will be meeting in line at 7am to get our tickets. I will not be saving spots....if you arrive late, you are at the back of the line, earlier, closer to the front. I suggest you bring warm clothes, and perhaps something to sit on.

They usually start distributing tickets around 8am. Admittance to the sale is in groups of 50, beginning at 11am in 10 minute intervals. So which ticket you get determines which group you enter with. The best stuff goes quickly!!

Between getting our tickets (around 8) and returning to begin the process of lining up to enter gear swap at 10:30, we will head to Chez Cora's, a famous Montreal breakfast place around the corner. It is usually packed, but hopefully won't be too bad so early on a Sunday morning.

This event is not highly organized.....people will get their own spot in line, and then casually head over to Chez Cora in smaller groups, as they will seat a maximum of 6. Make sure you're back at MEC on time to get in line, cause once the doors open, it's a mad house (prepare for shoving and screaming....) Enjoy your shopping!
