Itinerary:
Help the Credit Valley Conservation Association improve the Charles Sauriol Conservation area.

It is 2km hike into the work site, with some challenging terrain

We will be collecting, cutting and moving brush using hand saws and clippers. We will be incorporating the brush into some structures that are in the river to provide improved fish habitat and restore channel form. We will be working in the water chest waders will be available to borrow.

What to wear/bring: Dress for the weather!! Bring a hat and sunscreen, insect repellent, water and rain gear. Wear long pants and sturdy foot wear. NO SANDALS! Those not wearing appropriate clothing will not be able to participate in the workday. Please bring chest waders if you have them. We will have chest waders available to borrow.

We hope to have all work complete by 12pm. After, we will head back towards the city and stop for lunch along the way if people are interested. It is a good idea to bring some snacks and water, as we will be working hard. This event will be canceled only if there are Thunderstorms. Otherwise, it will proceed rain or shine.
