Summer Solstice Hike: Harbourfront to High Park (6/21/2008)

Itinerary:

Come out and walk into the sun as it goes down ever so slowly on this, the longest day of the year. Everyone's welcome but it's a fair distance to cover (hence I'm allowing people to drop out along the way if they get tired or can't keep up). We'll meet outside of Union Station (southwest corner of Front and Bay Streets); then we'll walk down to the lake and along the waterfront, passing Harbourfront, Ontario Place and Sunnyside before turning inland to walk through High Park. The hike officially ends at High Park subway station but those who wish can go out for a drink at one of the cafés or pubs in the Bloor West area.

Take the TTC to Union Station. Leave station through one of the Front Street exits; walk a short distance east to the above mentioned corner.
