Itinerary:

To me, Thursday has always been "early Friday" and therefore, people can stay out a little later than, say, Wednesday night. So, this will be a themed event and we'll try to make a night (not too late, though!) of it, for those who want to eat dinner as well. We will see the movie "The Visitor" at 7:20pm. Then we'll head to either The Ethiopian House or Teranga Restaurant (further away - a streetcar ride) in Kensington Market. (Yes, the two people in the movie are from Senegal and Syria, however, this is as close as I could get within both physical AND cultural proximity.)

You will be responsible for getting your own ticket. This theatre tends to fill up fast, so the earlier you get there the better.

I have already seen the movie (My rating is: it's a "darn good movie", or 7.5/10) and would like to see it again. The dinner afterwards is, of course, optional.

Event Directions:Meet outside the main doors of the Cumberland theatre at 159 Cumberland Ave. (1 block north of Bloor, east from Avenue Rd.) at 6:30-6:45pm. The nearest subway station is the Bay Subway - take the Cumberland exit (May 27 - it appears the Cumberland exit is under construction - take the Bellair exit and walk west to the theatre). You will be responsible for getting your own ticket. This theatre tends to fill up fast, so the earlier you get there the better.
