Fall hike in the Rouge Valley (11/23/2024)

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.

DISTANCE: about 9.5 km

PACE: about 4 -4.5km

Final hike size dependant on number of confirmed drivers. Wait list preference will be given to those willing to drive.

WASHROOMs: there are a couple of portable toilets at the beginning of the trail

Today’s hike will be in the Rouge Valley located on the edge of the city. Listed as one of the largest Urban parks in North America with a wide variety of forests, creeks and trails. We will meet at Kennedy Subway station “Passenger Pickup” and head to the trail via designated carpools.

  • Route consists of marked nature trails with a number of hills and valleys.
  • We will stop for a snack break along the way
    This hike will be run dependent on the weather and may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please check your email the morning of the hike to confirm final status.
    Plan to arrive 10 minutes before the start time to be checked in.
    We will leave PROMPTLY at the start time.

    Note: If you are driving to the station, parking can be found at the North Service Road lot, 2450 Eglinton Avenue East, 199 spaces.
