Itinerary:
Starting at the St. George subway, we will stroll up through the Annex to Forest Hill. This hike north is a steady (guesstimate: 10 degree) rise with one fairly challenging hill. Indeed, we will be going up a hill that is used by running clinics in Toronto. (Please note: the organiser will NOT be running. The organiser does NOT RUN unless being chased by something and even then, it's got to be pretty scary! If you want to run up this hill, however, you are certainly welcome to do so.)

We will stop on the grounds of Upper Canada College and then hike the tree lined streets of Forest Hill. We'll go into Forest Hill Village on our way back for coffee/food before heading back down to (a stop at) the St. Clair West subway and then finally to the St George subway for those who want to go back there. We'll either go past Casa Loma or partially through a ravine (gravel pathways) to get back to the Annex. It will be approx. 7km at a steady pace of 3km/hour on average.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet at the BEDFORD EXIT of the St. George subway station (on the Bloor-Danforth line) at 6-6:15pm. If taking the subway, follow the signs for the Bedford Exit. If walking, Bedford is one block East of St. George, just north of Bloor, come down the stairs and we will be at the collector's booth/turnstiles right near the stairs.

Notes:
This will be a deceptively good but gentle workout because of the steady incline. It's on pavement, so good shoes are a must! There will be car exhaust but I will steer us away from busy streets where possible.
