Mid-Week Walk-About (5/7/2008)

Itinerary:
They say that the nightly, physical exhaustion experienced by office workers is due
mostly to being cooped up all day and mentally stressed. The cure: physical movement and mental distractions.

We will explore Corktown and some old relic/abandoned (the outside)buildings along the way - total approx.
4 - 5KM roundtrip and return to the King subway station. We will be walking at about 3km/hour with stops.

Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes
Weather appropriate clothing

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We will meet at the King St. subway station 6:15pm.
Meet near the ticket collector's booth/turnstiles

Notes:
This will be moderate exercise, stopping at points of interest and urban vistas. Walking on pavement, sometimes in car traffic where necessary. Good shoes a must.
