Whimbrel are a long distance migrant that spend the winter in South America and breed in the subarctic. There is but a narrow window of opportunity to witness these superb shorebirds as they migrate through Southern Ontario and traditionally this is the peak time to see them.

The colourful North American wood warblers are neotropical migrants that are the jewels of the spring migration.

We will join the Toronto Ornithological Club for this event.
