D3.5 The Beach +Bluffs +Guild Park & Gdns 13.5 km (4/15/2023)

DISTANCE: about 13.5 km

PACE: about 4.5 km/h, (but there will be a few places with rocks, logs, and large mounds of mud on the beach that will slow us down to a crawl)

DIFFICULTY: D3.5

WASHROOMS: at your home before you leave, and 1/2 way thru the hike in Guild Park


Our route

  • This is a there and back hike on the beach beside the Scarborough Bluffs, and along a paved trail beside Highland Creek, and a loop around Guild Park
  • Approximately 9 km will be on the beach! There will be a some logs, boulders and rocks and large mounds of mud on the beach to challenge us
  • We will have a lunch break at Guild Park

  • water 1 or 2 L
  • Good footwear - (sand, rocks, logs, mud)

Meet on the SE corner of Lawrence Ave E. + Beechgrove Dr, Scarborough

If coming by transit, allow lots of time to arrive before the hike start time.

BY CAR: Park on a side street near the start of the hike.
