Itinerary:
In the map entitled "Toronto Recreational Trails and Cycling Loops", the "Metro Toronto Zoo Loop" is described as featuring "some of the most spectacular cycling in the city. It passes through the Rouge Valley on the twisting, up-and-down Twyn Rivers Dr., passes the Scarborough Campus of the University of Toronto and the Metro Toronto Zoo. This loop offeres countryside, treed neighbourhoods and variety."

We will park our vehicles in the parking lot at the corner of Twyn Rivers Dr. and Sheppard Avenue East in Toronto (on the east side of Sheppard and the south side of Twyn Rivers Dr.), and we will begin our ride on this loop by heading in an easterly direction on Twyn Rivers Dr.

After the ride, we will load up our bikes and head to Chalkers, the TOC Clubhouse, for some food and refreshments.

Note: This event constitutes a "qualification event" for longer single or multiple-day bike rides later in the season.
