So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 7 KM hike will start at Finch Station and end at Bessarion Subway Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths, grassy fields and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be about 3 climbs of 25 meters, with the longest being 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at the Bayview Arena located 2.5 KM into the hike.
However, Finch Station also has washrooms inside the Regional Bus Terminal.

Finch Station is located on the Yonge Subway line and is the most northern stop.

We'll meet at the Passenger Drop Off Area, which is located on the north-west side of Yonge/Hendon Ave.
The drop off area is one block or one traffic light north of Finch Ave.

For those traveling from the subway:

  • Exit the subway through the presto fare gates.
  • Turn right follow the corridor down past the Tim Hortons,
  • Then you can take the first left and follow a staircase up to the Passenger Drop Off Area.
