So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 13 KM hike will travel between Leslie and Lawrence Subway Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, grassy fields, sidewalks, wide gravel paths and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be 2 staircases of about 25 meters along with a road hill and another staircase of about 50 meters.

We'll stop for a washroom break in Sunnybrook Park about 8.5 KM into the hike.

We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

Post hike, I'm thinking about stopping at Brewing Brokers for a coffee and treat if you'd like to join me.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard Leslie, which is just outside Leslie Subway Station. Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line (Line 4).

If arriving on the Sheppard line, please exit the station following the signs marked "TO LESLIE STREET."

If you follow the the platform to the far east side, there is a corridor that will take you to the meeting point.
If you don't know where the far east side of the platform is, follow the direction of the eastbound train.

If you go out an exit with a ticket booth or if there is a bus loop, you've gone the wrong way.

In terms of parking, there is a TTC commuter lot located on Old Leslie Road, south of Sheppard.
