EVENT DETAILS

So, on August 10th, I sprained my left ankle. I've spent the last month letting it heal and am ready to start hiking again.
However, I can't rush back into it, so I'm going to lead a few short/slow 'rehab' hikes as I begin to feel better.

So, today's 4 KM is just a short route between York Mills & Bayview Station and is a brand new route.

This hike will be primarily be on neighbourhood sidewalks, with a short stint along a grassy fairway, which actually used to be a part of a golf course.

I'll attempt to torture you and my ankle with a 40 meter climb at the beginning of the hike.

Sadly, there won't be any washrooms on the hike.
Typically, there is a washroom in both the York Mills Centre and in Bayview Village, but with it being a holiday, I don't know if they will be open.

We'll aim for a slower pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h
