Yowsa! It was a little chiller/windier than expected but out group still turned out eager to walk. For some it was their first event with TOC so what better way to kick off the New Year?

We headed East on Yonge and saw the HHOF plus the new bike lanes at the base of Yonge. Captain John's was next then a stroll past the Harbour Castle Westin and the nearly deserted ferry docks. We checked out Harbourfront where a few hearty skaters enjoyed a near empty rink. The aerial photos of the Canadian landscapes near the rink were also neat to see.

We were soon at the Pawsway where we got to warm up a bit. Woody tried her best to complete the doggie agility course with limited success. There we also learned about the many heroic pet tales including one involving with ties to the club (dog named Nellie).

Soon after it was the wavedecks, Music Garden, a peek at the big canoe, then finally the warmth of the Skywalk back to Union Station.

As a bonus you can watch the photos set to music here .
