Write Up:
Okay, so it turned out to be Helene and Jim for this ambitious ride. We started out from Finch Subway Station, weaving our way north of the city through residential districts. It was cool and breezy, but we wore our neck-warmers and toughed it out. We took Keele St. North, to beyond King City Road, but decided to stop short of Kettleby. We stopped for lunch at the Tim Hortons on Kirby Road. We were able to watch our bikes through the windows as we devoured our lunch. This is a great ride for those who want to climb and descend huge hills. But be prepared. Make sure your bike is tuned up and has the necessary lower gears!
