Itinerary:

This 11.8 km hike will go between Warden Station to Leaside, ending at my fav fish and chips joint on Laird Avenue, i.e., Old Yorke Fish and Chips. Please only sign-up if you plan to join us at Old Yorke. Note that the menu does offer other options such as salads, weight watcher, et al, LOL! Also of note, the restaurant does not take reservations, but it is a spacious venue so I do not expect us to wait for a long time. Old Yorke Fish and Chips

We will be hiking through Warden Woods to Victoria Park Station and along Taylor Creek Trail, and a short section through Crothers Woods to the venue. The terrain will be mostly flat except for one or two hilly sections.

After lunch, there are a number of buses leaving right outside the venue; or a 10 minute walk to Eglington Avenue; or it is about a 45 minute walk to Yonge & St. Clair Station.

Please note the following TTC Scheduled disclosures on Aug 17th:

Line 3: Scarborough (Kennedy to McCowan) single day closure August 17

Line 1: Bloor-Yonge to Osgoode late opening August 17
