EVENT DETAILS

Welcome to my Hike For A Pint Series, where we'll be walking to either a brewery or interesting pub in the city.
The group size will be capped based on either reservation size or however many people I think I can get into a location.

You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike.

Today's hike will traverse 4 KM from Chester Subway Station to a mystery location near the intersection of Queen & Leslie.

If you register for this event, I'm going to ask that you come to the pub because:

  • 1. you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I could have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

The majority of this hike will be on paved park paths and neighbourhood sidewalks.

In terms of hills, the majority of the hike is either downhill or on flats.

If the washrooms in Withrow Park are open, I don't mind stopping, but I'm not sure this time of the year.

    We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

Warning: Food options are pretty limited at this location, so you might want to bring your own - outside food is permitted.

Also dogs are permitted at this location, so feel free to bring one along on the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

Also this shall be my 1400th event with the TOC
