Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 10 KM hike will both start and finish at Bayview Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, sidewalks and one grassy field.

In terms of hills, there should be one climb for 25 meters and one climb of 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Community Recreation Centre located about 1.5 km into the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.

    Event Directions:

    Bayview Subway Station is located on the Sheppard Line (line 4), 1 stop east of Sheppard-Yonge & 3 stops west of Don Mills Station.

    We'll meet outside the exit on the east side of Bayview.
    When exiting the subway, look for the sign for buses and then go to the exit for the northbound buses.
    Please DO NOT go to the exit for the YMCA or Sheppard Avenue

    For those of you driving, the meet point will be on the N.E. corner of Sheppard and Bayview. You can probably park in Bayview Village.

    Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt at the entrance to the station.
