It was a cold bitter afternoon, but TOCers nonetheless made the trek to Dangerous Dan's to see if Matt and Darrel would take on the Quadruple C "Collosal Colon Clogger Combo" - 24oz burger served with a quarter pound of cheese, a quarter pound of bacon, and 2 fried eggs, and also comes with a large shake (flavor of your choice) and a small poutine.

When it came down to decision time, both Matt and Darrel got a bit intimidated by the description and challenged each other to the Coronary Burger Special -- 2 8oz Patties, 4 Slices of Bacon, 2 Slices of Cheddar and a Fried Egg on top. Served w/ Fries and Gravy, Can of Pop and Mayo as a garnish for sure. Believe me, Sharon and I did our best to egg on Matt and Darrel to eating more food, but they both decided to stick with the Coronary.

It turned out that they should have ordered the Quad C. They both polished off the Coronary without any trouble and agreed that they both had eaten more food before.

Probably Richard got the most amount of food as he ordered a platter of ribs. The cold weather didn't stop Margaret from ordering a milk shake. We all agreed that the burgers were indeed very tasty (I just got small plain burger, which is still pretty big) and recommend that everyone comes to Dangerous Dan's at least once. It's a Toronto institution and a lot of fun.
