Write Up:

What a perfect day for a hike! Not a cloud in the sky and t-shirt weather in October. We began on the path through Beltline Park where we saw many joggers, walkers, bikers and dogs. We made our way to Mount Pleasant Cemetery, where all went well until we had a bathroom break. After that we got slightly lost but found our way by following the cemetery gate (one of these days I’ll learn how to get through this part of the Discovery Walk without having to backtrack). We proceeded down through the Moore Park Ravine, past the Don Valley Brickworks, then through another ravine. We crossed over a trickle of a river, up the side of a hill and found ourselves back on pavement at St. Clair Avenue. Note- Should you ever decide to do this hike go over the bridge on the left in the last ravine, so that you do not have to cross the river.

Thanks to everyone who came out on this beautiful day!

Katherine
