Write Up:
While everyone had a good time on this trip, our time at Petroglyphs Provincial Park was all too short. A lesson learned on why to leave Toronto as early as possible on a Sunday, especially with a larger group like ours, and having the park close at 5:30pm.

When we arrived at the park just before 2pm, after a 2 hour drive we knew that the 16km hike, a visit to the Petroglyphs, and lunch would not be doable before 5:30pm.

Almost everyone was able to get a hike in at just under 6km, and take a look at the Petroglyphs.

I took my carpool-mates Jing and Cathy to the Kawartha Dairy in Bobcaygeon for some fantastic ice cream. I had a Moose Tracks waffle cone, and banana chocolate-milkshake for the road. (To my disappointment they were out of crème brûlée ice cream.)
