There were nine people on today's hike. We went through High Park taking a dirt trail to Grenadier Pond. At the Lake we went east along the waterfront and saw people participating in, and attending, the Caribana Parade. We continued to Queens Quay's HTO Beach Park. The water level has lowered about 25 cm (10 in) and is now level with, and slightly overlapping, the wooden boardwalk. However, the boardwalk was too slippery to walk on, as it was covered with green algae.

The temperature was perfect for hiking, cool about 17C and cloudy. It rained quite heavily a couple of times but we had rain gear with us.

Thank you to everyone for your company on this hike.

$7.00 was collected in donations.
