FINALLY!!! A rain-free day for a hike! A wonderful, cool yet sunny day with a light breeze that kept the bugs at bay. A perfectly comfortable day for a hike.

There were beautiful waterfalls (Webwood and Websters) and cascading streams, almost like the waterfalls in unexpected places. The trail weaved around various wooded lots and conservation areas and kept our route off the roads. Beautiful landscapes surrounded with trees, caves, tall grasses and spring flowers and gorgeous lookouts. Most of the trail was rocky but reasonably flat.. well until.. last 4-5 km where, as if on cue and knowing that some of us were starting to feel tired or sore, the steep hills popped up.. out of nowhere!!.... honest... But we met the challenge fuelled by the thought of ice cream reward at the end. Sadly those hopes were dashed when the place was closed.

Thank you to Helena for driving.

$4 was collected with thanks! Galina
