We had a decent November evening for a hike, it was a tad chilly, but there was minimal wind, so once we got moving it was fairly pleasant. We met up at Broadview and set off for the trails. Everything went smoothly until we got to Roycroft Park to find the walking trail was closed. However, the fearless leader undaunted made a detour and got the group back on track. The detour meant that we had to cut out two sets of stairs, some people were happy about that, some less so.
We arrived at our destination and went to Cora's Pizza at Spadina & Harbord for a slice, except for one hiker who went to .. the other place. It was a swell evening that ended with some good pizza. Watch out for the next Hike For A Slice event, coming in mid-December.
