After the last few days of rain and cold weather, we were fortunate to have the warm weather upon us.

It was nice to see everyone had arrived at the meet up point on time (ah-hum – sorry!). After the waivers were signed, we headed towards Cedarvale Park for what I call a little stroll.

When we arrived at the park, we enjoyed two side tours of the lovely architectural homes in the neighbourhood that surrounds the park, crossed the Glen Cedar Bridge that overviews the park and ravine, found some Red Winged Black Birds in the midst of courtship before heading towards the highly in favour Dutch Dreams for some brain freeze but very yummy ice cream.

At our ice cream parlor, everyone ordered ice cream either in a cup or on a waffle cone everyone that is except for Sam who wanted to have the traditional hot waffles; after some waiting (okay, after we all finished our ice cream) Sam finally got his well deserved waffle. Was it ever worth the wait! The waffle alone was enough to feed all of us! Hurray for brain freeze!

After our departure, Sam, Carmen and myself strolled back to the park towards Eglinton Subway Station and found a rabbit who was passing us by by the Hydro Substation (that’s by the street with the cobblestone).

Thanks everyone for joining me on my little stroll! AND Teresa for the camera / photos. *_^
