We had a small, but enthusiastic crew for the hike. The weather was great for an evening hike. The sun was out, but it was nice and cool. Aside from some bugs coming out in the last few kilometres the conditions were excellent.
Because we had a small group we collectively decided to hike at a bit quicker pace and finished the hike a bit earlier than planned. The scenery along the trail was much nicer than it was in the winter when it was cold and dark. All in all, it was a nice Thursday night stroll through one of the nicer green spaces in the city before the weekend madness kicks in.
