It turned out to be a good hike. We weren't sure quite what to expect of the conditions as we left Downsview, given the recent unpredictable weather.

We started at Sherman Falls, and did a clockwise loop along the Bruce Trail, Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail, and neighborhood streets in Dundas, crossing Tiffany Falls towards the end. We had lunch at the Dundas Valley Trail Centre, which has a good collection of nature photographs (of the local area and outside).

Most of the trails were covered in snow, with some icy patches that made ascents and descents a bit difficult (especially the last 3 km). We were also lucky to spot 4 deer on the hike - 1 along the Rail Trail, and a family of 3 in the valley below the Bruce Trail, just east of Tiffany Falls.

Donations collected: $4
