A great time/ride was had by all 4 participants on this cycling event outside the city. Starting out from the Port of Newcastle east of Oshawa, we followed the winding road skirting the Lake Ontario shore to the town of Port Hope. Weather was absolutely perfect, sunny with only a slight tailwind (headwind on the ride back, where the hills got a bit tougher). We arrived back at the start point with plenty of time to get some refreshments at a nearby patio and catch some late afternoon sun and hear live music. Six dollars was collected in club donations. Lively banter and interesting and animated discussion on Neuro-pathways on the drive back into T.O rounded out a great Saturday. I hope to lead more of these types of cycling events in the future. Thanks Helene, for taking all the bikes and humans in your van and for doing the driving. Will
