Dorothy, you are not in Kansas anymore! our brave hikers won a war of attrition against the rain and the wind along the Toronto lakeshore. Special thanks goes to the dollar store at Runnymede for stocking rain ponchos. Sincere condolences to the one hiker who only brought a single ordinary umbrella.
Towards the end, we diverted the route away from the lake and stopped early at Wurst. Everyone, though wary and spent, had smiles on their faces. We shared beers, sausages, fries, and also a common bonding experience. Pretty good for a D3 urban hike! My sincere thanks to everyone who participated =)
