What a great group! Everybody was at the car pool before the departure time and we actually left 5 minutes early. We had an even 4 people per car, making for a cheap car pool. We had a beautiful day of skiing. The temperatures were moderately cool making the temperature suitable for skiing at a good clip. We skied in separate groups, the largest of which, headed by Mark and Rob, tackled both the north and west red trails. Congrats to Anton’s for his first ski outing of the season. In the afternoon, Mie donned her skate skis and set off on her own. Note to others who may be heading to Horseshoe: It turns out that passes are now being sold at the Copeland Forest chalet, so it is no longer necessary to go to the Alpine side. The greater bonus is that the upstairs is open again, making for a much more pleasant lunch experience. Thanks to drivers Rob and David! Donations collected $8.
