We had a great Victoria weekend. The weather was a bit on the cool side, but this was an advantage, as the bugs didn’t bite us. The first day we hiked from Lion’s head to White Bluffs, where we continued hiking on a few loops, for a total of about 16 Km. Leon and Keren took a lot of pictures along the way, with a lot of flowers on our route.

On the second day we headed to Half way log dump - the most rugged part of the whole Bruce Trail, according to the Bruce Guide. The day started with cloudy skies and overcast, 3 degrees, and as we approached the ‘Grotto’ at the Bruce Peninsula National Park, the sun came out, and we enjoyed the great views of this area. Indeed this trail is rugged, with a lot of rocks, and up and down, but the great views are great. On the way back, Min had twisted her ankle and we had to slow down, and luckily she was still able to complete the hike with the help of Lucy and myself, and with the hiking pole of Pnina. We have hiked 13.5 Km this day.

On our last day we hiked the Jones Bluff loop, 8.8 Km, which also has great views. Distances were measured by Alex’s GPS.

Thanks to everybody for a nice weekend.
