We had ten people on today's event. The weather was perfect and this was amazing, given the variable forecast the last few days. The route was changed slightly, deleting 3 k from the beginning of the hike, and adding 2 k at the end of the hike. So, hiking to the Air Show was only 9k, instead of 10k. This change was made so that we could walk further west and get a better view of the Air Show.
Fiona missed us at Broadview Station but was determined, and caught up to us near the Loblaws on Queens Quay. Way to go Fiona...
The Air Show was very good. We went close to Ontario Place and sat on the boardwalk / wharf under an overhead walkway. We weren't able to see some of the acrobats that the VIP seating would see, but we had pretty good views otherwise.
People left at different times but most headed back to the TTC.
$6.00 was collected in voluntary donations.
