Write Up:
We had 22 new members and 3 coordinators at our meet & greet hike. The weather cooperated and didn't rain as forecast. We hiked an 8.5k loop on both sidewalk and park trails, averaging 4.5 kph. After about an hour we stopped in the quiet of a park, and under the shade of a tree, for introductions and what kind of activities each would like to participate in. The hike ended back at Fairview Mall where we went to Michael's to socialize over pastries. Thank you to all who came out even though there was a risk of rain, and to Erik & Mike for their support.
