We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to hike. With GPS in hand, the group headed north. We started at the southern most tip of the trail in Pickering. Our end goal was to reach highway 7 in Markham and return back to our starting point in Pickering! We had 4 dog mascots today...they helped to kept the pace for us at about 5km. We successfully completed the whole trail of 25KM in the allotted time. There was still a bit of fall colour to enjoy and with the sun shining, and cooler temperatures what more could we ask for....well maybe a chuckle to watch me try to negotiate a mud puddle and lose! :D

Thanks to our Drivers, Keith, Darlene and Gina...without you, this hike wouldn't have been possible!

Donations collected: $6.75
