Slightly cooler weather and a waiting area undergoing serious renovations both greeted us today. Some of us paid at the attendant while others figured out the vagaries of using a converted parking machine to buy tickets instead.
Soon we were on our way. Once on the Island we explored the houses of Wards, looked at the mothballed Rochester ferry terminal, and strolled the boardwalk.
Disc golf players were out in some pretty good numbers. Other highlights included the farm, amusement park, and the haunted lighthouse.
A brisk walk back got us to the return ferry just in time to catch a nice view of Toronto's waterfront. In the end both dogs and humans had a great time.
