Write Up:
We arrived High Perspective a little earlier than 1pm, the time scheduled for our flight, and was said to have the best chances in a day to soar high. After greeting and signing the waiver ( that's really a serious moment, we read through every word, Melanie and Coco felt already a little bit nervous, Saif remained calm, or at least looked calm). After setting the order - since we had to fly one after another, Saif and Melanie started to put on their harness. A tractor brought us to the taking off spot. It was fun to get across the vast grass land dotted with flowers, we even startled bunch of butterflies when we passed by. Saif was the first to fly. We were surprised to find that the hang glider took off so soon. Within a few seconds, Saif was already high above in the air, and still get higher and higher. When the towing rope was off, the glider hovered freely in the sky. We can only see Saif and Scotty ( the pilot) as two overlapping small spots under the wing flying through clouds. While they coming down, Saif waved to us and very soon, the glider touched ground smoothly. The feeling of being high in the sky? Peaceful? Exciting? Scary? Melanie liked it so much and she wanted to do that again some time. Coco is expecting the even more exciting (scary?) feeling of skydiving. Saif tried both depth and height in one week ( scuba diving and hang gliding), and he's ready to go deeper and higher!
