Great weather was the order of the day again as we set out on our walk. Headed North on Spadina we passed the alternate subway entrance. The TTC has planned to make this a separate station called 'Lowther' but eventually it was just named Spadina instead. The Kendall entrance made wonderful use of an existing house for a unique look.

Further along we passed the archives and then up the stairs to Casa Loma and Spadina House. Imagine our surprise when a lady ran and yelled from across the street on Davenport. Turns out she wanted to tell us about the Tollkeeper's cottage open house. We popped in and got a great look at life back in the day. Volunteers were on hand to answer questions and serve up delicious home baked cookies.

Then it was a cut up through the exclusive Wychwood Park neighbourhood. A 'gated' community that pays for it own maintenance and amenities.

A quick stop at the Wychwood barns farmer's market gave Woody a chance to do some off-leash frolicking at the adjacent dog park.

We finally made it up to St Clair just in time to board the historic PCC streetcar. The mood onboard was lively and convivial. Riders were excited and a news cameraman plus a choir were also there to help celebrate. Click here to watch the CTV clip.
